But on to more important news, like what am I reading?!
I’m still finishing True Love Story by Willow Aster. I hope to be done tonight or tomorrow.
And I’m also starting a new ARC kindly provided to me by Netgalley.
Come Undone by Jessica Hawkins.
I cannot wait!

OMG OMG OMG!!! This book BLEW my socks off…and my shirt… and my pants…
There really aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how unbelievably sexy this book was.
Please allow me to introduce you to William Maddox Lambourne and Catherine “Cat” Kelly. They are both gorgeous in their own right but William…Oh EM GEE!
“That face-those eyes. He had dark brown hair, wavy and thick and tousled. It was sexy hair. The kind of hair a man sports after he’s been rolling around in bed.”
I am picturing Chris Pine here, mostly for his strikingly sexy blue grey eyes MEOW
Cat was smokin hot as well!
Cat is a photographer that is going through a tough time in her life after to loss of her first husband Jace.
William is a billionaire food aficionado and is obsessed with getting Cat into his bed…and into his heart.
I have heard people say that this book is like 50 Shades of Grey but it is OH SO MUCH MORE! There is a lot of character development and it really makes William and Cat more relatable. I loved the relationship between Cat and her best friend Beckett…reminded me of my friendship with my best guy friend.
The scene with Cat, William and the pain au chocolat will go down in infamy as the number one fantasy that will keep recurring in my dreams…
And I shall never look at a kitchen floor the same way again!
There are so many parts of this story I loved, EVEN the cliffhanger ending (I cannot wait for the next book in the series!)
Some of my favs:
“What kind of burglar turned on the lights and cooked dinner? Dropping my bags at the door, I walked and arrowed for the kitchen. I stepped inside and halted because he was there.”
“‘That’s the last time you’ll open your mouth to another man’, he said, his voice husky and seductive. I couldn’t stop the tremor of pleasure that raced through me at his sey tone. ‘From now on, I’m the only man that feeds you.’ My skin where his breath touched it fired in response, and I squirmed in my seat. His closeness and his voice turned me on, but I didn’t appreciate his warning. Who the hell did he think he was? Did other women tolerate this sort of behavior?”
“I lifted the gift from the box and stood, allowing the floor-length silk dress to cascade to the floor. “Oh, Beckett.” I sighed. No one had ever given me surprise gifts, and no one had ever given me something like this”
“‘Every girl, and some guys, I know would love to be in your shoes. Youre Julia-fucking-Roberts in Pretty Woman. But prettier, of course. You are William Maddox Lambourne’s girlfriend.’ Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. The comparison resonated. And the real question remained-was I the princess or the whore?”
This book was seriously sexy, deliciously hot and over-the-top AH-MAZING!
Highly recommended for my fans of erotic romance!
5 out out 5 stars!!!
Not Quite Dating – Catherine Bybee

This is the first book in the Not Quite Series.
Jessica “Jessie” Mann is a waitress and single mother to an adorable little boy named Danny. She is struggling to make ends meet and wants to provide a secure life for Danny. She is determined to find a man with money…
Jack Morrison is the son of a hotel tycoon and is tired of meeting women who are only after his fame and fortune.
It seems fate has plans for Jack and Jessie.
When they first meet Jessie thinks Jack is nothing more than a carefree dreamer. Exactly the kind of man she shouldnt be attracted to; a man like that can’t provide the kind of life Jessie wants for her son. Jack is in no hurry to spill his secret wealth either.
Both Jessie and Jack are forced to question what each other really wants in love and in life and together they end up finding more than they bargained for. In love, you can’t buy affections and you can’t hide from fate. Sometimes destiny has a way with making sure we get out of our own heads and find our path to true happiness.
This book was a very fast read and I honestly adored it. Jack is the cowboy we all dream about, with enough money to provide a comfortable life.
(I just love Timothy Olyphant!)
Where do I sign up?!
Jessie is hardworking and loves her son to the point that she is willing to sacrifice love for money. She is giving and funny and beautiful.
However, the course of true love will not be easy. There are ups and downs in the story and oh-so-many times when I clutched my chest thinking, this is too freakin cute!
This book has a happy ending and I honestly cannot wait for the next installment to read about Jacks sister.
One of my favorite parts of the book:
Jack was too much of a gentleman, too nice a guy. He respected her wishes even if he didn’t believe in them. The man of the hour stepped closer to her, took his finger, and lifted her chin so they looked at each other. “We are friends, Jessie.” “Really, Jack. That’s what we are…friends?” “Of course.” “Just friends. Are you saying that if I took my clothes off right now and offered myself to you, you wouldn’t take me up on it?” The words first widened Jack’s eyes. A hot current of need flashed on his face; the effect shot molten heat straight to her core. Then those sparkling gray eyes narrowed. “I’m not a saint, Jessie, and you know how I feel about you.” His husky voiced confirmed what his expression had already said. “Friends don’t sleep with friends.” Her words were weak. “Say the word, and I’ll turn this friendship into a relationship faster than a rattlesnake can strike his prey.” He would, she knew he would. The fire in his gaze said more than any of his words could. “To what end, Jack?” Jessie pulled away from him, felt tears sting her eyes.
I highly recommend this book and I am anxiously awaiting the second installment!
5 out of 5 stars!

Hearts in Darkness – Laura Kaye

Holy hell… I LOVE THIS BOOK! I felt the need to get that out-of-the-way right in the beginning.
This book is a short 232-page read but OMG is it filled with all kinds of sexy…
Makenna James, accountant, is having a downright horrible day…and things are about to get even worse.
Caden Grayson is completely terrified of dark and confined spaces.
Makenna, getting ready to leave her office for the day, makes her way to the elevator. She is extremely distracted and stumbles into the elevator. She catches a glimpse of a dragon tattoo on the hand of the man who catches her…
JUST AS THE LIGHTS GO OUT
Caden and Makenna are forced to fight the fear of being in the dark confined space. They must talk to one another in order to stay calm because neither one of them knows how long they will be in this elevator.
So what happens when you’re stuck in the dark and only have your instincts to go on? What happens when you take physical attraction out of the equation? Caden and Makenna end up finding out more than just what they have in common. They find a passion, they find each others hearts…in darkness.
This book was fantastic! I loved every single second of it!
The fact that Makenna was forced to think about what it means to be attracted to someone was brilliant. I have often found myself attracted to certain people in terms of personality, but yet the physical attraction just wasnt there.
That’s why this story is so fantastic. Laura Kaye takes that part out of the mix.
Luckily for Makenna, Caden is plenty sexy. Tattoos and piercing…
YES PLEASE!!!
Some of my favorites from the book:
“Tell me, Red, you gotta say it out loud. I can’t see your face or your eyes, and I don’t want to make any mistakes here.”
“He crowded right up into her space, pressed his body against hers—trapping her against the glass of the door behind her, plunged his hands into her hair until he was cupping the nape of her neck, and devoured her lips with his.”
I highly recommend this short but sweet, sexy yet sensual, all-around good time novella to my ladies that are fans of romance.
5 out of 5 stars, as if you had to ask!
This has been one hell of a week for me! I have been busy applying for what feels like at least 100 jobs… I have been putting the final touches on my independent research study and literature review AND doing cryptography work for my IT Security class.
On top of all that, I have been trying to catch up on my reading for fun!
I’m currently reading A Taste of You-Sorcha Grace
It’s ridiculously sexy… Like bite my nails and need to take a break, sexy… Rumor has it that it ends on one hell of a cliffhanger-I need to mentally prepare myself.
The review for that should be coming within the next day or so…
I’m also reading True Love Story-Willow Aster
This book is so realistic and vibrant. It really transports you back to those moments of first love and feeling like it was the end all to end all…
I cant wait to finish it and write the review…I have a feeling it is going to be a good one!
Keep a look out, lots coming in the next few days!

Nice Girls Dont Have Fangs-Molly Harper
Posted: April 12, 2013 in Paranormal, RomanceTags: book reviews, jane jameson, molly harper, nice girls don't have fangs, para-romance, paranormal, reviews, undead, vampires, vamps
This book had me laughing out loud more than any book I have read in a long long time!
Jane Jameson, not to be confused with adult film star Jenna Jameson, is from the Hollow. A small, sleepy little town in the good ol’ south.
She is a librarian with a thirst for useless trivia…and a soon to be thirst for blood. After getting fired from her beloved job as a librarian and then being mistaken for a deer and shot on her way home, Jane awakes to find herself a new addition to the undead of Half Moon Hollow.
She has a hot and cold relationship with her sire Gabriel–SWOON
And lots of run-ins with the local undead inhabitants… and SOMEBODY is trying to pin vampire murders on dear sweet Jane
This book wasn’t the best book I have ever read but if you are looking for a book to give you a nice little giggle fit, this is a good fit for you!
Some of my FAV quotes:
“I am your sire. I am to guide you through your first days as a vampire. Your first feeding is a rite of passage, a sacrament. It will not be wasted on some hormone-driven frenzy. This is why I wanted you to feed from me.”
“I will not drink it in a house, I will not drink it with a mouse. I will not drink it
here or there, I will not drink it anywhere,” I wheezed, hoping I was able to communicate adequate sarcasm through the crippling belly cramps.
“Did you just quote Green Eggs and Ham?”-Jane and Gabriel
“A woman puts on a new dress eyeliner lip gloss to please others. A woman paints her toes to please herself. And if there was one thing I was familiar with it was pleasing…There’s no way to finish that sentence without embarrassing myself.”
-Jane
“Note to self: Try to stop reacting to surprises like a cartoon character.”
Jane Jameson”-Jane
“Walmart started selling “Vampire Home Defense Kits”, including holy water, crosses, stakes, mallets, and a book of quick blessings to bar vampires from your door. The fact that these kits were generally useless didn’t bother me nearly as much as the idea of holy water being sold at Walmart.”
-Jane
“Wait, Richard Cheney, as in Dick Cheney? You’re a vampire named Dick Cheney? Somehow, that makes you seem more evil.”
-Jane
Jane Jameson.”
He grinned. “Like the porn star.”
I gaped at him. “What? No, Jane Jameson.”
“Oh, not as fun,” he said, making disappointed clucking noises.”-Dick Cheney (the vampire)
Overall, I give this 3/5 stars. An enjoyable read but nothing too spectacular
